Day 1:Arrival Cairo
Your tour manager from Memphis Tours will meet and assist you at Cairo International Airport (Arrival procedures) and then he will escort you to your hotel by exclusive air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. At hotel the tour manager will assist with a smooth check-in and review your holiday itinerary with you to establish and confirm pick-up times for each tour. Overnight in Cairo.
DAY 2: CAIRO TOURS
After breakfast, your guide will collect you for a full day visiting the famous pyramids in the area. You will begin with the famous Giza Plateau to visit the only remaining wonder from the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World - the Great Pyramid of Khufu (called Cheops by the Ancient Greeks). Also on the plateau are the pyramids of Khafre (Chephren) and the smaller one of Menkaure (Mykerinos). The plateau is as famous for the mysterious structure 'the Sphinx' as it is for the pyramids, where you will visit the Valley Temple. Then move to visit the world-renowned Egyptian Museum in Cairo that was built in neo-classical style and designed by the French architect Marcel Dourgnon. The museum's vast collection of over 120,000 artifacts ranges from pre-dynastic era, through the Pharaonic era to the Greco-Roman period of Egypt. Amongst the most famous items which you may see are the funerary treasures of the child King Tutankhamun, the colossal statues of the heretic king, Akhenaten, and the only surviving image of Khufu, creator of Egypt's Great Pyramid. Your tour then takes you to the Christian heritage in Coptic Cairo, including some of the early religious monuments of the city such as the Hanging Church. Continue driving to Islamic Cairo, where you will be able to explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s old bazaar. Then back to the hotel, overnight in Cairo.

Day 3: Fly to Luxor / Embarkation
In the morning your tour manager will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo by air conditioned private vehicle to Cairo domestic airport to fly to Luxor where you will be met and accompanied by our Egyptologist tour guide. Then you will be guided in a private air-conditioned vehicle to visit the magnificent Karnak temple the largest place of worship ever built. You will have your lunch on the way at a good quality local restaurant and then visit the Valley of the Kings, where the magnificent tombs were discovered, those tombs were carved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures for the afterlife of the pharaohs, you will visit 3 tombs. Then you will continue the tour to visit the Hatshepsut temple at El Deir El Bahary, this impressive temple was dedicated to the Queen Hatshepsut the only female pharaoh rises out of the desert plain in a series of terraces and merges with the sheer limestone cliffs that surround it. Then transfer to Esna (50km south), home port of the Dahabiya. Embarkation on the Dahabiya for a 5-day cruise along the Nile between Esna and Aswan. Overnight in the Dahabeya.

DAY 4: Edfu Temple
Enjoy your tasty breakfast at the Dahabeya while continue sailing towards Edfu. Go on a wonderful horse carriage ride towards the Temple of Horus in Edfu. The temple is actually a wonderful copy of much ancient Pharaonic temples and it is in a wonderfully preserved state. Our next visit will be to the souk or market of Edfu where the guests will have a chance to buy gifts, and everything that Egyptian shops have to offer. In the evening you reach the Speos of Hormoheb, the last king of the 18th dynasty of the New Kingdom of ancient Egypt. This chapel that was cut into the rocks contains many wall reliefs, statues, and scenes of the Hormoheb and the god Amun. You will land in front of the Speos of Hormoheb. Have a magical dinner on the ground while listening to the most wonderful and entertaining music with the lighted temple in front of you. Overnight in the Dahabeya.

DAY 5: Kom Ombo Temple
Sailing towards Kom Ombo to visit the Temple of Sobek in Kom Ombo; this marvelous Greco Roman temple is quite symmetrical in everything. Being dedicated to the two gods; the falcon god, Haroeris, and the Crocodile god, Sobek, the temple has two entrances, two halls, and two sanctuaries. Then land in one of the small magical islands in the River Nile to have dinner in a great distinctive location close to the doors of Aswan city. Overnight in the Dahabeya.

Payment PolicyReservations should be made as early as possible to book the desired Egypt tour, spaces will be secured upon receive a deposit of 25 %, and during the Christmas and New Year holidays and tour packages the required deposit is 50%. Egypt Entry VisaYou need to have a valid passport at least 6 months beyond your scheduled return date to enter Egypt and you can obtain a visa from the Egyptian Consulate before departure. Also, entry visa is available upon arrival Egypt airports against USD 25 per passport for specific nationalities and need to check before.
Sleeper Trains in EgyptSleeper trains are designed and equipped according to a satisfactory standard and quality that was set up by the Egyptian Railway Authority. Sleeper train from Cairo to Aswan is about 14 hours and sleeping train from Luxor to Cairo is about 11 hours.
