Sunday's clashes in Cairo between Christian Copts protesting against the torching of a church in southern Egypt and thugs led to an intervention by state security forces which resulted in at least 25 deaths. Sunday’s clashes was unexpected incident and seems like a “misunderstanding” between Coptic Christians, Muslims and the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces ( SCAF ).
The incident was on the spur of the moment and doesn’t have any other impact anywhere else as the incident happened within Cairo in Tahrir and Maspiro area without any intensions for longing the demonstrations or expanding it to other cities. Despite of the demonstrations and riots, which is very limited , all touristic places are working normally, the current issues have largely not targeted foreigners and tourists feel secure during their visits.
